so glad to be out of the car!

Saturday me Jess and Holly headed down to Knockhill planed to leave about 3pm but Jess only just got home from her flight from magaluff that morning. So didn't get to my house till 8pm we also had to pick Holly up on our way we arrives at the hotel in Dunfermline 3.30am, 6 pro plus and monster all the way to keep awake lol but we did have a fun journey lots of loud music ect. got to the hotel make-up off and back up at 7.30am to look out the window to a very wet Scotland :-(

Sunday Made our way to Knockhill Circuit to do our duties the weather couldn't have been worse. we couldn't go out to the public much as it was raining really hard and the wind was ridiculous. Out on grid the wind was so harsh everyone's brolly's were going inside out (that's always embarrassing) the 1st race was red flagged as the weather was so bad you couldnt even see anything so after about 30mins it carmed down abit so all girls back out on the grid for a restart. There was also another red flag out for this race but was a quick retart.

Superbike Race two -  we were un able to have our brollys up on the grid so we smiled and posed for the photographers while the riders bikes were prepared, with the weather brewing as the riders set off on there warm-up laps and rain inevitably falling once again as the red lights went out. Not for the first time during the weekend red flags quickly brought proceedings to a halt. This time it was Simon Andrews who caused the premature end as he was high-sided off his Kawasaki ZX-10R Ninja in front of the marauding pack as they turned into turn one for the first time. The resulting mayhem caught out Simon’s team mate Gary as well as half a dozen other riders and the race had to be stopped.

Gary was able to get back to the garage where all hands were on deck, including team manager Nick Morgan getting his hands dirty helping prep Gary’s damaged bike for the restart. But it was all to no avail as the weather conditions worsened and BSB Race Director Stuart Higgs had to call time on the meeting for safety reasons.

Long drive back, we left the circuit at 5.45pm i didnt arrive home till 2am and Jess 3.30am so was nackered. but had a really good sleep and all refreshed this morning x
