This is the first time I have worked at this event so was a lot different to the modified car shows and the bike events I do.
I’ve always wanted to go out in a drift car so one of our drivers offered to take me out on the track which was really cool.
As this was the first time the drift event had us Maxxis girls there we wanted to make everyone happy, make a good impression. We handed out our free goodies to the public: umbrellas, beanies, keysrings, stickers and pens. We also got lots of pictures with fans.
End of the day we handed the winners there cheques, trophys and champague on the podium. The public loved it and couldn’t wait to get the drivers autographs.
