It's cold & dark, Candice and I are on our way to Scotland..."Coldstream...that doesn't sound like a very safe place to stay, does it Cand?". We arrive at our "b&b" (which can only be described as a small, dimly lit shed...we didn't want to stay in the small shed) Instead we decide to go on an epic adventure to a scary pub, with a man who makes us sandwiches with too much coleslaw, and a bedroom door with no lock. We turn on the tv and watch a scary horror film as that was the only channel that worked before falling asleep, dreaming of the events to follow the next day....
The motocross is WET!!! soooo wet...and muddy! Absolute filth. Candice & I spent the day mud wrestling, having pictures with important people, and eating a lot of cake from the hospitality tent :)
The day ended with us handing out trophies in the pouring rain, wearing nothing but our hotpants and a smile. "Can I wear a fleece when we hand out the trophies?" evidently not :P What an experience that was! Some kind boys also took it upon themselves to pour water over us on our return to the car... We really were soo wet. The journey home involved driving too fast over bumps in the road *whheeee!* and rapping to old-school Eminem... over all, an awesome/eventful weekend!
